Size for Size, a direct bury pole (basketball system shakes less than a "bolt down"
"Filling a pole with cement will cause the pole to shake less and will keep water from accumalating in the pole. This does not apply to bolt down systems. This Service is offerred as a $35 optional addon charge for 4" sq & smaller poles by www.willardinstalls.com. This is not necessary for systems with reliable rain caps.
